So - a few weeks ago, I started my pottery class. I've been having a lot of fun. The first week was hand-pinched bowls and objects. I made a little bowl and a pear, which I let dry and cut the top off to make a jar for earrings and trinkets. I then painted it and let that dry. The second week, I made a coil pot - which I will use more for a bowl - depending on how it turns out. We'll find out!
I actually have my 3rd pottery class tonight - and I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'm actually contemplating doing it again in the fall. Mostly because it's so easy and fun! Maybe more intermediate - I'd like to do more wheel items than hand-building in the Fall.
I'm also contemplating taking a rock-climbing course or just to hang out with my brother at Vertically Inclined Rock Gym.
Maybe I can do this one day! (not likely - but I'd like to just see everything from a new height)
